I agree with you and SEO as an activity that all organisations which operate online have to consider. Technology is moving on quickly, hence one must adapt quickly in order to keep up with the latest trends, features and opportunities delivered by the World Wide Web. Especially in PR such aspects must be considered, understood and implemented quickly in order to sustain its operations and stay competitive.

I am agree with you in today's competitive environment where every company is spending million's on the advertising targeting the segment there is no scale to measure the effectiveness of the advertising, in this stance using the social media as transforming the company message to the target audiance is a cost effective and capturing the huge audiance with a single medium.

I’m convinced that an informative and interesting corporate website is indispensable for winning new customers and selling products in the Web 2.0 environment.

I think especially interactive tools get site visitors involved and build their interest. To speak from my experience I’m convinced that any tool that gets people involved with the content of a website supports the deeper understanding of the provided information. I like to explore content on my own.

Great post :)
I think it's really interesting that sometimes you can't tell when the fansite/pages are being run by the brand or users themselves. Clever stuff.
I think you are totally right when you call it a 'game'!

I agree with you Andrea. Today everything is so easy...thanks to ONLINE SERVICES. Just type what information you need in any search engine and you get it... online dating is the latest example..but only thing I wonder is the creditability of users..fake identities..

Nice post! Even I don't see any harm with it..it's a gr8 way to know someone first without physically meeting but the only problem with it is the fake identities that people can create.

Personally I dont see anytime wrong with it, just like nicoletta pointed out, one has to be conscious about the dangers. I have come across couples who met online and they seem very happy together.

Interesting post, Andrea!
I think you are right with the fact that the web 2.0 and social media make it easy for people to get connected. But I also think that it contains a high risk for all users. Everything can be faked - your picture, your hobbies, your identity. Christiano Ronaldo just wants to have fun and I don't think that he really wants to meet a girl. There are lots of strangers out there - some peaceful, but others not. One example of the dangers of online dating is shown in the case of a German woman, who was recently in the press. She met a men in the virtual world of the web 2.0; after many chats they decided to meet each other in the real life. At the first date he killed her. His age and everything of his personality was faked. It is a really funereal story, but it demonstrates the danger of online dating.

I think people nowadays use the net for socialising and dating as they may feel more secure behind their screens...Physical and emotional security as well...However we are all aware of the dangers someone faces when talking to strangers! But i guess all these do not apply in Ronaldo's case :)
